As reports of financial elder abuse and securities fraud continue to rise, the two increasingly overlap—creating complex challenges for professionals and the clients they serve. Former SEC trial attorney Brent Smyth and probate litigator Jeff Loew will share insights from their experience enforcing these laws and discuss practical approaches to protecting vulnerable clients, pursuing those responsible for financial misconduct, and navigating professional and ethical responsibilities.
