President's Message

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am humbled, honored and privileged to assume the role of President of the Santa Clara County Estate Planning Council (“SCCEPC”)(2019-2020). I am deeply grateful to my predecessor, Dave Samuels, CLU, CFP®, for his leadership and outstanding contributions to SCCEPC during his presidency, and the members of the Executive Committee and Board. I am inspired by their commitment to SCCEPC and all that we do. Indeed, the success of SCCEPC has been propelled collectively by the individuals and all the past presidents and past members. I look forward to continuing this important work towards fulfilling the mission of our organization of providing excellent programs and networking opportunities.

We are looking forward to a great season of programs! As you may have seen on our website, the board has secured top notch professional development for each dinner meeting. Look for announcements regarding networking and social events as well.  I would also encourage you to explore the educational programs and benefits offered by our national organization, the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC) and consider earning the Accredited Estate Planner, AEP® designation.

At this time, I want to take a minute to thank our sponsors. These organizations support our Council to ensure quality programing and enhance the membership experience. Sponsorship includes access to more than 120 estate planning professionals. If you know of organizations that would benefit from connecting with our membership, please encourage their support.

Finally, the future of our organization and its continued success depends on our members and future qualified members. I encourage our members to renew their membership and for non-members to sign up and join our organization!

Sincerely,

Jesse G. Dogillo, CFP®, CLU, ChFC, AEP®
