An Introduction to Impact Investing: Meeting Clients' Financial and Societal Goals

Impact investing enables investors to support companies, organizations and funds with the intention to generate social and environmental impact alongside a financial return. While impact investing approaches may once have been limited to excluding ethically questionable industries, investors now have access to a broad range of options that meet their financial goals while addressing global social and environmental challenges. Justina Lai, Chief Impact Officer and Shareholder at Wetherby Asset Management, will provide an overview of impact investing, discuss the case for impact investing and highlight examples of how clients have successfully integrated impact investments into their portfolios.
